How to Connect Your Devices to WiFi in the Dorms (RecNet)

NOTE: RecNet is the WiFi network used for resident hall devices, such as smart TV's, gaming devices, and smart speakers. 

  1. Start a Get IS help request.
  2. In the first Description, please include:
    1. Your device type (Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Alexa, etc.).
    2. Your device’s wireless MAC address. If you are not sure how to find your MAC address, you can Google where to find it for your specific device.
    3. Your dorm room building and number.
  3. We will follow up on the ticket with the RecNet password once the request has been completed.Â
