Downloading and Installing LockDown Browser

  1. Go to westminsteru.edu and click on the button labeled "Info For", then click “Current Students”.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and under the section labeled Tools, you will see a link for LockDown Browser.
  3. Click the link and it will bring you to a Canvas page. Click the button to Enroll in the course and the click “Go to Course”.
  4. Click “Link to download”.
  5. Select the proper version of LockDown Browser based on your computer (either Windows or Mac OS), then click “Install Now”. This will begin the download.
  6. After it has finished downloading, follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
