Requesting Academic Software

  1. Log onto the Help Desk Portal.
  2. Select the Get IS Help request.
  3. Provide the name of the software you would like to have installed. Let us know why you want this software and how it will be used at the University. The more detail you can provide the better.
  4. Please include your office location and some times you would be available for us to assist with the installation. 
  5. If the software is included in the catalog of approved software the University has licenses for, a representative of IS will contact you to coordinate the installation.
  6. If the software is not already owned by the University, a representative from IS will contact you to let you know if your request was approved or denied and to coordinate billing.
