Services available:

  • Toner/ink for every University-owned printer in our print contract
  • Replacement parts as needed
  • Necessary ethernet cables, power cords, and USB cables

What kind of support can I receive regarding these services?

  • New ink ships once ink levels reach 30%
    • IS will replace the ink once it arrives and ensure the printer returns to a "Ready" state
  • Replacement of parts as needed
    • IS will call our print company, who will then service the printer as needed
    • Replacement of cables as needed
  • Paper for each printer is supplied by the department the printer belongs to

Basic troubleshooting?

  • Check ink levels, order, and replace ink as needed
  • Check error messages and relay that information to Dex (the number on the Print Counts sticker) so they can replace the necessary parts
  • Restart printer and reseat all cables
  • Replace cables as needed
  • Review knowledge-based (KB) articles provided by IS
