Services available:

This data center is located in the basement of Giovale Library, within the Information Services secure office. Although data centers are becoming a thing of the past, our current one has 13 pieces of equipment: 

  • 6 - Dell PowerEdge
  • A Nimble Array
  • Dell PowerEdge R410
  • 2 - IBM System M2s
  • A Dell KVM 
  • Security cam DVR
  • UPS
  • 2 - air conditioner units 

What kind of support can I receive regarding these services?

The data center is managed and maintained by Information Services, however, the equipment within the data center typically has support contracts that are renewed yearly. Team members of the Information Services department are responsible for:

  • Routine maintenance and running updates
  • Calling and working with support 
  • Decommissioning old equipment 
  • Installing new equipment 
  • Cleaning the data center
