Burton Conference Room - Presenter Guide
Overview:
This guide will walk you through the steps for using Extron equipment to present in Burton.
Getting Started:
Power On the System:
Locate the Extron MLC next to the room’s computer.
Press the Display On button to turn on the TV and microphone.
Select Your Source:
You can use the Source Selection buttons to select the input you want (PC, Laptop 1, Laptop 2).
The laptop HDMI cables are in the center table. Laptop 1 is in the front pocket, and
Laptop 2 is in the rear pocket.
Connect your device to the system using the HDMI cables. You may need to provide your own adapter for your device.
Adjust Volume:
Use the Volume Control knob to set the desired audio level.
Starting a Teams meeting:
Open Teams and start your meeting. Before the meeting begins, you will have a chance to update the audio and camera sources.
For the camera, you should use the “Lumens VC-TR40 USB Camera.”
For the Microphone, you should use “Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (4-DMP Plus USB#1).”
For the speaker, you should use “ExtronScalerD (Intel(R) Display Audio).”
Using the Camera
The Camera will always track the active speaker. So, there are no controls for this device.
There is a slight delay in picking up a new speaker, so keep that in mind.
