How to Change Your Surface Laptop Password

Your laptop password is not connected to your Westminster password. If you change your Westminster password, your laptop password will stay the same, and vice versa. If you want your laptop password to match your Westminster password, you can change it right after you change your Westminster password. You are an administrator on the laptop, so you will be able to install any software that you might need with your Surface laptop password. To change your password:

1. Type control+alt+delete
2. Click Change a password
3. Type in your old password, then your new password twice
4. Click the forward arrow or hit Enter when you are done
