Print Queue Paused at "Ready to Print" for Macs

If you are unable to print and your print queue is Paused or says "Ready to Print" but will not resume, please follow these steps.

  1. Open the Self Service app on your Mac. You can type "Self Service" in the Spotlight search bar at the top right of your Mac's menu bar. The icon is a purple Westminster W. Note: This is not the web based Self-Service website, it is an application on your computer. 

  2. Click the Support tab, then run the Print Fix (CUPS) package. 

  3. Finally, try printing again. It may ask you if you want to resume the queue, in which case you can say yes.
