Deleting a Previously Approved Leave Request (Salaried Only)

There may be a time that you plan to take leave time, submit the leave request, get it approved, and then do not actually end up using the leave time. These are the steps that you and your supervisor must take to delete the leave request and ensure those hours are not taken from your balance. NOTE: This only applies to salaried employees. 

Step-by-step guide

  1. The supervisor who previously approved the leave request must go into Self-Service > Employee > Leave Approval.
  2. Select the employee's leave request and click "Reject".
  3. The employee then needs to go into Self-Service > Employee > Leave.
  4. Select the leave request, then click "Unsubmit" then "Delete". You will not be able to delete the request until you unsubmit.
