Requesting a new academic application is more of a process then than a service. The process is:

Please note this process will take several weeks  weeks and requires participation not only from Information Services (IS) employees, but also from the user who is requesting the new application. Information Services IS is involved in the evaluation process to ensure the software operates securely and that our infrastructure can handle it. These finding findings will be documented in Information Services ( IS ) document management system for future use or requests.
